This classic design features individual button hooks. The tapered shaft creates a beautiful silhouette when worn. It combines the durability of Goodyear welt construction with the soft comfort of Bolognese construction, and features a sponge sole, making it easy to wear even for those unfamiliar with leather shoes. While retaining the traditional button-down boot design, the shaft bump material has been changed, resulting in a special horsehide/horsehide (cordovan) combination. The cordovan is made from Shinki Leather's Shin Cordovan. Compared to traditional natural cordovan, it contains more wax and oil, making it more resistant to bending and tearing, while also being supple and soft. The oily texture allows it to pull up with wear, allowing you to enjoy the subtle shades of navy.

This is a last that fits well within the E width standard of chausser. Due to the narrowed shaft design, the buttons may not close depending on the thickness of the instep and ankle. Due to the manufacturing process, the shoes will become looser by about half a size once they are broken in.

Care Instructions - Cordovan -
Step 1. Remove the shoelaces and use a horsehair brush to remove any dust or mud from the surface.
*Please use shoe trees if you have them.
Step 2. Remove stains using a leather cleaner.
Step 3. Apply a thin layer of nourishing shoe cream (type: cordovan-specific cream or emulsifying type) to the entire surface.
Step 4. Shine: Use a boar bristle brush to apply shoe cream and shine the entire shoe.
*If the hair is standing up, rub it with a buffalo horn or something similar, as if you were crushing the hair.
Step 5. Wipe dry with a finishing cloth to remove excess cream and polish.
