Chausser's ghillie sandals feature cowhide leather from Kodera Tannery for the upper. The thick grain layer makes them durable. The mixed tanning process gives the leather a beautiful finish, and the brown core finish allows for enjoyable aging over time. The Vibram Shark Seal provides excellent durability, grip, and flexibility, making them easy to walk in. The ankle strap is a rivet type, so after adjusting the laces on the instep, you can put on and take off the sandals using just the strap.
*The top surface (the surface where your feet rest) is finished in black, so there is a possibility that the color may transfer if you wear socks or bare feet.

This last is one of the best fitting shoes for chausser's E width. It fits well, but the laces and rivet straps are easy to adjust, and the shark sole has good bounce, making it easy to walk in.

Care Instructions - Smooth Leather -
Step 1. Remove the shoelaces and use a horsehair brush to remove any dust or mud from the surface.
*Please use shoe trees if you have them.
Step 2. Remove stains using a leather cleaner.
Step 3. Apply a thin layer of nourishing shoe cream (type: emulsifying) to the entire area.
Step 4. Shine: Use a boar bristle brush to apply shoe cream and shine the entire shoe.
Step 5. Wipe dry with a finishing cloth to remove excess cream and polish.
Step 6. ※ Waterproof spray
It is not a required step. If you wish to use it, please choose a fluorine-based product.
